I felt like quitting Krishna consciousness because my friend comes down here with a
free breakfast of meat and I feel obligated to eat it so I was dumping the books onto

to time . Swami Prabupadhu has interesting comments on desire, he says you can't kill desire
but rechannel it for a higher purpose . Take the Buddha reaching nirvana didn't curb his
appetite - you must have seen statues of the Buddha after enlightenment depicted as being fat . Also deep meditation can be dangerous as the Devil could get in tempting you . Mantra
meditation is easier , so chant Hare Krishna ! - and be happy !.

These editions of the "Teachings of Lord Caitanya" are great for distribution. Srila Prabhupada once said that he wanted his "Caitanya-caritamrita" to be distributed, but that can be a little difficult to distribute sets of that to people. So distributing this edition of "Teachings of Lord Caitanya," which is the summary of the "Caitanya-caritamrita," incredibly easy and attractive to anyone. Title:Buy books before the internet eats you
These books are beautifully bound and illustrated. The many plates of colourful and detailed prints add much to the presentation. I would prefer if the story was given in full in English, rather than piece by piece next to the original language and explanations. I’d like to see all three in the book, but made separately, so I can for myself read the entire text through, rather than it being broken up, like it is currently. I belong to the Bahá’í Faith. I wish we get Religious Education in schools. Society is falling due to religious wars and politics but also society is falling because we haven’t had the access in youth to becoming educated by reading Quran, Bible etc. So it makes me very happy to have these books in my possession. Allah’u’abhá and Namaste.

I recently ordered & received both the original 1970's reprintings of the complete Srimad Bvagatam & the Caitanya-Caritamrta, along with second copies of Krsna & Chant & Be Happy, which I ordered as presents for a friend. Every word of these vital books inspire & elevate, bringing joy & better understanding of who & what we truly are. Krsna is probably my favorite, with the stories of Him as an Earthly avatar. Mostly, my best advice to anyone is simply summarized in the title of Srila Prabhupadha's short book, Chant & Be Happy. It doesn't get much clearer than that. Hare Krishna!
