I was surprised at all the accessories that came with him: kunti mala, mini 108 bead japa mala, bead bag, Brahman thread, 2 full sets of clothes (dhoti, kurta, and sannyasa cloth) and a replica of the hat he used to wear. I couldn't stop staring at him (still can't) due to his beauty and uncanny resemblance. Even non devotees have been awestruck by his form and commented on how beautiful he his. Melts my stone heart _3 Also, extremely grateful that Krishnastore emailed me to say that Srila Prabhupad was arriving on the day of his delivery as 20mins later, the postal service came, knocked and left before I got to the door. Title:Mrdanga Tilak meets all my expections!
I received my new, red Mrdanga Tilak on monday. My excitement when it arrived was similar to that which i felt opening christmas presents as a child.
I gave it a first go for my wednesday kirtan group. It sang sweetly. Far superior to the old clay khol that i've been using. It's so nice not to have to put it next to the radiator for an hour before i use it to tune it up.
The tuning is so simple and responsive.
I love the deep red colour, which i didn't initially want, as black was my preference but out of stock.
the design is neat and efficient, with nice small features like the alan key for tuning in a velcro pocket on the strap.
the drum is super light, really easy to carry around.
Very happy with my new drum. The drum cover is very neat as well. suits the drum.

Title:Awesome quick service
Excited about the new Tilak Mridanga. It is a bit lighter than the regular similar size Balaram Mridanga, sound wise (after tuning), it is about the Same as Balaram mridanga. With the Allen wrench provided it was easy to tune it.
Had bought my second Mridanga from Krishna store. The first one was a hybrid (skin head and fiber body ( which lasted about year and half and the big head broke. So got a supposedly long lasting ( I heard would last Life time as this Tilak mridanga is made of fiberglass body and heads too.)
The mridanga showed up in two days, packaging seemed to work out good there was no damage. However the $50 Shipping tag took a little bit to get over. I wish there were other cheaper options to ship out, I would not have minded another 5 days of wait time.

Title:quality incense that burns long
Ordered the incense and it came within a few weeks. Also was surprised to learn that it burns pretty long as my morning prayers/puja lasts around an hour. That is a plus. Good fragrance (I ordered Tulsi and also Mt Everest incense), I will definitely order again in the future. Hari Bol.

I got Srila Prabhupada's original Bhagavad-gita, The Path of Perfection, Life Comes From Life, Beyond Birth and Death, The Perfection of Yoga, Sri Isopanisad and both KRSNA Books, and Krsna Consciousness: The Topmost Yoga System...they're truly wonderful...although I have not read them all, I keep reading Bhagavad-gita..but my experience is absolutely wonderful...The smell of the books and the japa mala was so wonderful..my brother also commented that it's so beautiful .he loved the smell.. Not only the smell but the philosophy also, it's magnificent I will urge you to buy these books because they're so much needed in today's society. I have made 3 purchases from the Krishna Store so far and i always get such a thrill when a package arrives for me from India!!! I have purchased the Japa Chanting Kit, and also items for my little altar (which i attach a photo). i am waiting for my Murti of Srila Prabhapada to arrive and also a Laddu Gopal Deity to complete my little shrine.
